The Love River - Episode 1 (w. subs)

A while ago someone requested The Love River.
Although at the time I couldn't find the drama anywhere. Today while surfing youtube I saw that MinSquare91 (I believe all AC fans remember her! ;) ) has subbed parts of the first episode.

I haven't watched it myself, but I thought I'd post it here and see what you guys think of it..?
If there's a great, great demand for it, perhaps I'll post the whole thing..

Plot summary:
Through her senior Vijay’s recommendation, Zhen Ai (played by Genie Chuo) finally achieves her wish of joining the travel agency to work as a tour guide and leader. To Zhen Ai, this is her first time, and the day her fate intersects. But, the confused Zhen Ai accidentally mistakes Liu Xin He (played by Leon Jay Williams) as one of her members. Yet, Liu Xin He not only does not blame Zhen Ai or the travel agency, but instead is willing to continue to stay in Zhen Ai’s tour group. However, Zhen Ai realises that the reason for this is because he wants to make her life hell. He is simply a devil, treating her as a ‘slave’, making her do this and that. Over time, many misunderstandings occur between the 2, like when Zhen Ai accidentally spills her drink on Xin He’s pants, making the perfectionist him fire up in anger. And fate even leads them to stay in the same hotel together for a night, making the other members suspicious of the ambiguous relationship between them. Although Zhen Ai tries her hardest to clarify, it seems that she is only making things worse. An accident leads them to fall into ‘The Love River’ together and Zhen Ai wonders if fate is playing a joke on her. But what Zhen Ai did not expect is that Liu Xin He is about to become the new boss of the travel agency..

Genie Zhuo - Vanished/Disappeared Rainbow MV

The subtheme of Rolling Love/Dan Chao Fan is as most people have noticed already Genie Zhuo's Vanished/Disappeared Rainbow.

Yesterday, I just read the news of them shooting it and today the full version is already out on youtube.

The MV features Jiro Wang, although I would have preferred Danson Tang because I think Danson & Genie make a better couple. I actually find this MV quite boring as nothing really happens, but Genie looks very beautiful in it, so its worth watching anyway.

Btw, regarding the DCF/RL OST it will be released soon, and earlier it was reported that Heng Xing (the opening theme) would be on the CD, but that is STILL NOT TRUE! - The company in charge of it have still not, as far as I know, changed their mind, even though they should because a number of people are boycotting it.

I finally got a hold of something that sounds like a full version of Genie Zhuo's song "The Rainbow That Disappeared" aka. The subtheme(ending theme) of Rolling Love/Dan Chao Fan.

I uploaded it to megaupload as the song is pretty good, it's soft and meaningful.

Rolling Love

So as mentioned earlier there is another idol drama airing on the Sundays. Rolling Love, also known as Fan Gun Ba! Dan Chao Fan started airing last Sunday, it was replacing the well-known drama ISWAK II.

This drama includes:

Jiro Wang as Michelin
Danson Tang as Leng Lie
Genie Zhuo as Guan Xiao Shu
Xiao Xun as Wasabi

Synopsis credits to d-addicts

Leng Lie comes from a well-off family and is a Cordon Bleu trained chef who is widely acclaimed for his nearly perfect cuisine. He is admired Internationally by women and chefs as a representative of the highest standards. Though in Leng Lie's heart there is a regret from a Valentines Day two years in the past, as singer/songwriter Guan Xiao Shu suddenly hit the big time. Xiao Shu and Leng Lie grew up together as close friends until one day, Valentine's Day, Leng Lie decided to confess his feelings. Unfortunately, an unexpected accident took place that day. Xiao Shu was victim of a car accident which stole her eyesight. Feeling responsible, Leng Lie decided to take care of Xiao Shu's future, but not wanting a love based on remorse, Xiao Shu rejected him.

One day Xiao Shu entered the "Fried Rice with Egg" diner. The simple and plain fried rice she ate there had an odd effect on her. She felt relaxed and carefree. Odder still, the cook who prepared the meal could only cook eggs and rice. Michelin was new and a rather bumbling chef. Though Michelin possesed a latent talent for cooking he only relied on the skills his father had passed on to him. With this, he had earned himself a reputation and an income in the vilage by producing 100 plates of fried rice with egg each day. Though, upon meeting Xiao Shi the many flavors of food and love opened up to him. Likewise, Michelin's frank nature gives Xiao Shu the ability to cultivate an independent lifestyle. All the while, Leng Lie has stayed by Xiao Shu's side secretly aiding her, witnessing the growing feelings between Xiao Shu and Michelin.

I have a confession though. I haven't had the time to watch the first episode myself, yet.. I just loaded it, but I haven't had the time yet. I will though, I have sort of seen parts of the episode through links @ youtube, and I think it's got potential. Danson & Jiro are goodlooking, as always, but this time around Danson isn't playing some stiff guy with no emotions. This time he's in a triangle.. Something else that I noticed was the second female, Xiao Xun's voice. Let's just say.. I don't like it. But maybe I'll get used to it.

Another thing is that I totally love the theme song. It's sung by Fahrenheit and is called Heng Xing/Star. - It has been ripped already, but the version isn't very good. I will upload it later, when I've tried to edit it a bit.
