Layout update

After several hours of playing around with templates and html codes I've finally finished updating my layout :)
This update is rather big in comparison to my usual layout changes.

Please do let me know what you think.
Is it easier to navigate around?
Is it harder?
Do you like/dislike it?
Are you experiencing any problems?

List of major changes:

I have:

- Added "buttons"/links just below the header. Some of them are drop-down buttons, whereas some are not. I thought it would be easier to navigate around the blog - for now I've added links to the most trafficked pages/blog posts. These may change over time. Some of the links are merely internal - to navigate around the blog, others are external to other blogs etc.

- Added a slide-show of pictures - the pictures will feature the dramas that are currently airing and of which I blog about. These will also change over time. You can click on the images to view all the posts related to that particular drama.

- Added three columns instead of the usual 2. I thought I had accumulated a number of widgets over time and thought it would give a better overview if I split it into two.

- Added a "email me" button. Simply click on the text to send me an e-mail. The click will automatically open your default e-mail programme/app so you can start typing right away. If you're using an online based e-mail you can simply put the cursor on top of the text and see the e-mail address at the buttom of your browser (often it's shown on the left side).

- Added a search function. With more than 1000 posts it can be time consuming to look through so many in order to find one post. So now you can use the search function and hopefully make it easier for yourself :)

New layout

I was getting a bit tired of the old layout - even though I miss Autumn's Concerto, I thought I needed something new.
So right now I'm in the process of testing layouts and finding a suitable one.

Therefore the blog might be slower than usual and well, don't be confused by the frequent layout change. It's just me testing it :)

Do you think Luo Xi walked in on purpose or was it merely an accident? - Like his mind was elsewhere and he didn't realise what he was walking into?

Translation:

Luo Xi: A long, long time ago I wanted to propose to you.
Xia Mo: But it wouldn't matter, because I love him..
Luo Xi: (Since) there's nothing worth living for in this world, (then) might as well die..
Shen Qiang: LUO XI !!!!

Official ratings - TW

A quick update from my phone while I commute to work.

Official ratings for:
ZWY ep 2, SD ep 10, CFL ep 12, SOL ep 10.

The official ratings are out:
鍾無艷 Zhong Wu Yan 2.16
泡沬之夏 Summer's Desire 1.83
呼叫大明星 Calling For Love 0.61
就是要香戀 Scent of Love 0.51
Source: Chinatimes Showbiz

Sadly, a decrease for practically all dramas. When will SD finally break an average of 2 or 3? - I think it's simply too good to be missed.

Anyone else have any comments on Zhong Wu Yan? I haven't had time to watch it yet..

Translation

I usually try to translate the previews, but do you guys actually need it? :) It's just because it takes a bit of time, and sometimes it might be inaccurate. If you actually use the translations and want me to continue, please let me know.

Xi Meng: Do you think you have no responsibilities in the Ou family's tragedy?
President Xia: Since you hate me, then why tell me the truth?!
Zhen En: How could it be him..?
Xia Mo: What nonsense are you saying? Why would you die?
Luo Xi: Why not..?
Luo Xi: Because there's nothing worth living for left in this world... Might as well go die..(?)
Priest: Ms. Yin Xia Mo, are you willing to take Mr. Ou Chen as your husband, to take care of him and love him, forever be with him?

Again, apologies for the poor translation.. Did my best, feel free to correct me. :)

Poor Luo Xi..
I'm sorry, but Shen Qiang is REALLY bugging me! Especially in the drama - but also in the novel to some degree.. But in the drama the actress/character is way too clingy, annoying and too much of a busybody! (I mean I'm sure Luo Xi can think on his own, he doesn't need her constant nagging!)

Although Xia Mo looks happy despite the initial thoughts she had towards marrying Ou Chen. - It's probably because she learns the truth about their past..

Luo Xi... Your jealously really got the best of you..
Xia Mo really does love Luo Xi - otherwise she wouldn't be crying so badly when he initiates the break up..

TRANSLATION:

Luo Xi: Let's break up..

Luo Xi: It's almost me who is being abandoned, this time.. let me be the initiator.

Xia Mo: But I love/like you..

Luo Xi: Yin Xia Mo, do you think I can't do without you?

Ou Chen: Xia Mo, you're mine..!

Ou Chen: You will agree for the sake of Yin Cheng..

Zhen En: Xia Mo, Xiao Cheng has fainted... The doctors are trying to save him.

Ou Chen: In order to be with you, I actually don't care about sacrificing my life..

Ou Chen: I don't wanna be the source of your misery, I take back the demands I laid out...

XIa Mo: I agree, as long as you're willing to give your kidney to Xiao Cheng, then let's get married.

Luo Xi: We only just broke up and you're already together... That fast..

Luo Xi: So anxious(? - not sure)

My thoughts:
Ou Chen is really showing a different side of him. He's totally growing on me..

Quotes/translation

I translated some quotes that I thought were interesting.

Ming Dao: Hey, what are you doing...? I don't remember knowing someone that ugly, don't come over here...!

Cheryl Yang: That lantern, it was you who "left" it, wasn't it?
Ming Dao: Not me, it had nothing to do with me...

Ming Dao's character's father: I came here today to initiate a marriage for my son, the daughter-in-law that I want is you..
Cheryl Yang: Me..
Ming Dao's father: You, Zhong Wu Yan..

Cheryl Yang: You're right, I'm really ugly, but you're a good person..

My thoughts:
Wow, Ming Dao sounds so shallow xD
But he gave CPR to a duck..

I'm still more into Summer's Desire - but who knows, perhaps this drama will "wow" me when I start watching it. Although I'm anticipating Ming Dao's return, I'm not that interested..
