EDIT: Apparently Megavideo is being VERY annoying ! I just tried to watch LOS and apparently they have put a limit to how much you can watch at the time! - Those a*ses! I never thought they would do that. - Now MV had become all popular, and they decide to this ! I guarantee them one thing, if they don't remove that time limit thing, they will suffer from a serious fled of viewers. Who wants to use a side that counts how many minutes you have watched and stop you in the middle of nowhere to tell you that you have to purchase premium acc. to continue? - That was a bad move MV ! AidMaker - A Good Cause

So I've been kind of MIA with music etc. these couple of days, it's because I'm busy writing a very stupid marketing assignment that unfortunately, is rather important. So I've had to neglect the blog for a bit.

I have some new songs that I want to introduce to you guys, but I have to wait a couple of days with that.

In the meantime, my head has gone "charity". - Don't you follow? Well, I've had an urge to support charity these two/three days. I guess it's because it's Breast Cancer Month and my work has just had some "Diva Days" to support the race against breast cancer.

While looking at the Danish "Kræftens Bekæmpelse" in English "The Race Against Cancer" I stumbled upon this super cool program called AidMaker.

S.H.E - New Album !

Talking about being slow..
I just found out today, that S.H.E are releasing a new album. This is quite late, since today is the day where it is actually released. I believe it's called "FM S.H.E"

I have heard one song so far, it's a group song (S.H.E & Fahrenheit), and while it's quite sweet and bubbly. I don't think it will be one of those songs that are stuck in my head for a very long time.

Here's a sample/part of the MV with S.H.E & Fahrenheit, the song is called "酸甜"

I can't wait to hear the album though, I rarely love all the songs but I often like quite a lot of them.

I checked YesAsia and they have like a million different versions. One with the CD + DVD, another version called "retro radio edition" and "future radio edition". I don't actually know the difference between these, so that you will have to check out.

Song Of The Day # 1

So instead of having a song of the week, I've decided to do a "song of the day" instead. - Mind you, I will not upload every day! But instead, I'll upload a song when something new and exciting comes out or if I have time. I think I've kept procrastinating "song of the week" enough to just let the project go. So I'll do something less "demanding", because I can do this, when I have the time.

So I stumbled upon this new version of I the popular song "Ice Cream" from MR sung by Ah Hing / Fala Chen. This is a live ripped version from JSG.

ID That Song # 1 - Edit

So, turns out that we were completely wrong about the sub theme in MR "Talk To Me".

Here's the truth:
- Janice Vidal is not the singer, it is a singer/band named DNR
- The name is not Talk To Me but "Ice Cream"
- It is not exclusive to TVB, they probably don't plan on releasing it later, either - In fact, it was released last year on an album called "Popstyles"

So I was pretty much wrong about all of it. My apologies, when I say "ID that song", I really thought we had id'ed it. To make it up to you guys I've uploaded the CD/full version to megaupload.

ISBM/HS/MNG Ratings Report

A decrease for ISBM and HS and an increase for MNG.

ISBM seems to be quite steady with being no. 1 (although far from an average of 7, like they had in the first episode) while MNG surprised us with an increase of almost 1 %. I wonder if HS suddenly feels challenged?

Ratings are out, ISBM remains on the 1st spot, but their ratings have still decreased by over 1 %. - Although they do remain no. 1, and their ratings are fairly high for an average drama, it is still quite obvious though that FTLY is not there to back them up anymore. Obviously the ratings for their 1st episode was highly affected by FTLY.

Prison Break - Season 4, episode 1+2

So, I just found out that apparently one of my favourite characters from PB is back on the show. I can't believe I've been living in a bubble. - Cause people have known since March!

So who am I talking about? - Of course, it's the beloved character dr. Sara Tancredi. While I am quite happy to see Sarah Wayne Callies back on the show, I'm not sure it's entirely good for the show. I know I am one of many viewers who abandoned PB when I saw Sara Tancredi's head in that box. I just didn't find it all that interesting anymore. But I have decided to quickly browse through season 4 to see if they can catch my interest again.

In my opinion, the producers of the show realised that the ratings dropped when they killed Sara off. - That's why they've come up with this new idea of bringing her back. BUT, it's slightly unrealistic isn't it? One minute she's dead the next she's back, it's kind of untrustworthy if you ask me, and if people find the show too untrustworthy, they will most likely stop watching it.

I am very happy to see Sara & Michael together though, I mean I wasted two years on their relationship. - They were the most interesting thing in PB. I hated PB already when they killed off Veronica Donovan.

ISBM/HS Ratings report

Let me start off by saying I was right.. :P No kidding, but ISBM's ratings did decrease by quite a lot. I don't want to seem mean or anything like that, but.. I think Sanlih deserves to see this. I'm sorry it's on the expense of ISBM, but I want to teach them a lesson for being so manipulative. - Not that I had anything to do with it, cause I can't support the drama nor can I make the ratings decrease as I live quite far away from Taiwan.

But enough being mean on my side, here are the ratings for ISBM episode 2 & Hot Shop Episode 6:

無敵珊寶妹 Invincible Shan Bao Mei 4.81
籃球火 Hot Shot 2.66
蜂蜜幸運草 Honey & Clover 0.60

As for my opinion about episode 2 of ISBM:
Not impressed, sorry. - But I'm not sure I'm the right person to judge either, cause I mean I only saw like 5 mins in total. I saw the XY, CX and Ji Nian Re scene and then I saw Nicholas' ex-girlfriend packing her stuff.

So instead of being interested in ISBM, I'm gonna watch My Lucky Star instead. - I know, I am a fan of Taiwanese Idol dramas and I haven't even watched My Lucky Star - I just never thought the cover was interesting, but I suppose this is where "don't judge the book by it's cover" comes in. I'm gonna watch My Lucky Star cause I'm interested in Nic's ex from ISBM - I can't remember her name, but I think she's evil in MLS.
