I am updating right now during my lunch break cause I didn't have time to do it yesterday. As most of you know by now, FTLY broke their records again. This time their reached the highest segment of 13.64 (and I think Qiao En will wear a bikini if they break 15, that's what I've heard anyway).

My thoughts: Basically I'm surprised FTLY didn't drop in ratings as Hot Shot should be a pretty strong competitor. I personally, have not yet had the time to watch Hot Shot, so I cannot say how strong a competitor I believe they are, but judging from the popularity of the three guys, I think they have pretty good chances.
So for the episode, I almost gained a bit of respect for Anna in this episode. I mean, I still dislike her, but at least she did tell CX that she didn't want his pity. I loved when XY ran away from the hospital and ended up kicking CX, he totally deserved that for his indecisiveness etc. Basically pretty interesting episode, and finally Mr. Z is not just Mr. Z but also Mr. Ji Cun Xi.
However, what was it with our two main characters and their phones in these episodes. Are they like competing against each other to see which one of them will have more missed calls, or what?

The first episode of Hot Shot is currently airing. Although I haven't officially introduced the drama, I believe most of us have heard of it already. I'm not sure if I'm going to watch the drama myself as sports dramas are not really my kind of thing, but here it is for the people who are interested.

This is a song from the drama "Sound of Colors" starring Ruby Lin and Wallace Huo. I just recently purchased the drama from Yesasia. It's interesting enough, only slightly draggy. But the songs are pretty great (no official soundtrack was ever released), but I do have three of the songs. The ending is so sad, I think I cried like a baby.

I totally love XY's description of CX, "the tall, slim with qq (curly) hair" It's so funny. I'm glad CX sees XY and runs after her, that means this won't be one of those hidden misunderstandings where CX doesn't know that something's wrong and XY tries to let go. And btw, obviously she wasn't too happy to hear that he was Mr. Z.

So Anna jumped into the lake... - I really want to care, but.. I'm sorry I don't. The only thing that comes out of her jumping in is seeing Dylan showing his brotherly affection for Anna. A nasty cold for Anna and more misunderstandings for XY & CX.
So anyways, it looks like the hospital scene will come first, I'm glad. That means that XY will hear his true feelings after the hospital-Anna-jumping in- scene, where they once again had a misunderstanding, so there's hope for it getting cleared up pretty quickly.

Another Olympics song. This song is like so long. I think it lasts about 6-7 mins or so. But I suppose it takes time for all the voices to be heard. There's a number of artists involved in this song. Although the song is in Mandarin the artists includes HK artists as well.

Olympics related - This is the Chinese version of the official Olympics song, I prefer this one as it sounds better.
The next weeks may be related to the Beijing Olympic Games. - Why, because the Olympics will begin soon and because I am Chinese, and despite the issues with China I don't feel that it's appropriate to mix politics with a world sports event. All I can say is that if we are so unsatisfied with a country, then we shouldn't choose them to host the World event to begin with, I mean what is happening in China isn't exactly new. But let's not mix music with politics either.

A new preview/news has been released on episode 20 of FTLY.
I'm very disappointed in what I see. Anna is most likely, instead of the rumoured fake pregnancy, going to use the guilt/sympathy card on CX to make him stay with her. And CX is actually falling for it. He says "I won't leave you". - WTF? Did he not just swear that he would be a sticky note and do whatever it took to win XY back? Even if he is just saying it to calm her down or meant being there as a friend, he is still letting them both on, and XY overhears it! CX you bloody fool.

My guess is that XY listens to the iPod and decides to look for CX only to see this scene. I can't understand why Anna doesn't walk away with her dignity intact and stop acting like a pathetic fool? And CX should be ashamed of letting both women on again, he's hurting them both.

I originally liked the idea of 22 episodes, because that seemed like enough to fill in the necessary scenes to end the drama. But now that they have extended it to 23, I don't know.. I am beginning to find some of the scenes slightly draggy. Like the pub/club scene in episode what was it, 18? I didn't find it funny at all, in fact I found it rather pointless. They could definitely have chosen another scene to let us know that CX misses XY and regrets the decisions he made.
So lets hope they don't extend it any further, I mean I love the drama. But I don't want some desperate company to take advantage of the good ratings and excellent cast, (except for minor roles). Too many episodes can ruin the drama like it did with Ying Ye 3+1. I wish they had ended the story after Ming Dao's near death experience. But of course they didn't.
The show that airs after FTLY is Invincible Shan Bao Mei starring Nicholas Teo, Amber Guo (some singer who's new with the acting, but looks quite a lot like Rainie Yang), Roy Chiu (who?).
The officlal ratings are out, actually they have been for a while now. I just got home from work.
So FTLY dropped a bit and RL/DCF rose a bit and well H&C is just the normal.

So FTLY dropped by 0.09 and that's alright, since the ratings are still bloody high. But I actually liked this episode better than the previous. I totally loved the MSN scene and the class where XY was teaching, I loved how she was all smiley and happy towards the students and frowning at CX. I hate and still hate Anna/Bianca Bai's acting, but I did feel sorry for her in this episode. Obviously, her mother is a loony. - I mean it, C-R-A-Z-Y..!
As for DCF, I'm sad to see that the final episode didn't break 1 or 2. But at least they came in second again, after like two weeks on third. Well, Xiao Shu ended up getting engaged to Michelin and Leng Lie left.. I have only briefly browsed through the episode, as I haven't had time to watch it yet, but it didn't even look like Leng Lie ended up with Tilly. - I mean after all his love and devotion towards Xiao Shu they didn't even have Leng Lie end up with a girl.
So Hot Shot airs next week. That should be interesting. Even though I know that Hot Shot is highly anticipated, I believe in FTLY. I'm sure they'll do well despite whatever new drama that airs. Although I do plan to browse through Hot Shot ,I don't know whether I will end up loving it like FTLY.

My very favourite song at the moment. The lovely and sad song by Lee Ryan after he went solo from the boy band Blue. I felt like crying after watching this MV. It's so sad but so beautiful anyway.

So I'm kinda gonna miss DCF, okay admittedly I haven't been the most loyal fan as I usually watch other shows before this, but I'm definitely going to miss the lovely theme song, the amazing dishes and Leng Lie & Xiao Shu's chemistry. - They are going to kiss in this episode, but Xiao Shu will most likely end up with Michelin anyway.

Just before the drama airs in approx. 1 hour, I have an update on some previews that were released. I know it's kinda late now, but I had to format my computer yesterday so I didn't have time for any updates there.

It does look like XY might listen to the iPod that CX left for her two years ago. If you look closer she has headphones in her ears, they are also white, so she is most likely listening to the iPod before she may or may not go to Paris. (Although, obviously she isn't going to Paris as she will be teaching art).
"You can't do this to me" - Of course he can, after what Anna did she deserves whatever she gets. She should really get out of her bubble. Did she really think she could keep the secret forever and happily marry CX?

Moonlight Resonance is airing after Love Exchange, which means it starts on 28th of July 08 on TVB. Moonlight Resonance is also known as Heart of Greed II.
The drama itself is not particularly interesting because I hate how they changed the characters, they even broke up my favourite couple BoTa (Bosco & Tavia) in the drama, so there isn't much left that I'm interested in. - Except for Raymond though, but he is after Linda and that couple I don't like..
But anyways, the sub theme sung by Raymond Lam has been released and it's even the CD version, so I uploaded it so you could listen to it. I don't find it as catchy as his previous songs, but I have a tendency to like them after a while.
The song is named "Not Enough Love" or "愛不夠" in Chinese.

Finally done uploading RL/DCF episode 11. - Now there's only one more episode to go. I'll miss it, at least I'll miss Leng Lie & Xiao Shu's chemistry. Next up after DCF is Hot Shot also known as Basketball Fire with Jerry Yan, Wu Chun and Alan Luo.

The truth be told, I didn't find yesterday's FTLY episode that exciting because I think the drama is getting draggy, but there were scenes that I enjoyed very much. The XY ringing the doorbell a million times and when Nai Nai, Anson & CX finally found out about Anna's evil doings. On the other hand I find many of the scenes unnecessary, like the blind-date XY went on, I was like, huh?
While I don't particularly care much about Honey & Clover, because I don't find it interesting, I feel sad for DCF/RL! They went in 3rd again. I have only really watched bits of last night's episode, but I don't find it that bad. I mean there are lots of shows that are better, but it's really a shame that the ratings are that low. I hope the ratings will rise next week for the final episode. I mean Michelin leaving, Leng Lie & Xiao Shu finally kissing (although she didn't look particularly into the kiss), Xiao Shu getting her operation etc. - Hopefully they will break 1, but it seems like most people are hooked on FTLY now. DCF fans shouldn't lose hope though, Jia You!
According to people at AF FTLY is confirmed to have 22 episodes.
They say that according to a newspaper, FTLY will end on 10th of August which is 4 weeks ahead which adds up to 22 episodes.
I'm glad it isn't ending at 20 because there really are so many scenes that we have yet to see, I did find the last couple of episodes slightly draggy and they could have cut it down a bit, but I really hope they won't stuff in the Anna-fake-pregnancy storyline into the already quite complex plot.
I believe that it will be 22 episodes as the crew are done filming and when newspapers dare to print it, it must be quite true. So this is probably as confirmed as it ever gets with Sanlih.

I hope Anna falls on her face, she deserves it for that stunt she pulled two years ago. - Nai Nai looks equally shocked. The whole locking people into a room thing is kind of old now, it's a cliché in all Taiwanese Dramas these days.
I still find the scene where CX & XY freshen up their looks hilarious. It just means that they care about how they look to one another. I wonder why CX covers up the TV?
Are you serious, CX and Anson? Really, CX why do you always end up in bed with someone?
I really hope we get to see Anna's scheme revealed tomorrow. I cannot wait for the misunderstanding to be cleared up. Damn, Dylan is back to his old (hot) self. No more flowery shirts etc. Still, I prefer CX but Dylan is really coming in close when he isn't so feminine. His hair still bugs me, but his suit totally makes up for that. :)

Cun Xi and Anna is finally about to step into the wedding chapel!
However, Cun Xi whose wedding day is near is not happy at all. Instead he goes with Anson to a night club and comically asked for sticky note girl!
The Cun Xi who obviously cannot forget Xin Yi therefore gets himself drunk and passed out drunk for the entire night……
Xin Yi accepts a matchmaking date under her mother and sisters’ arrangement. She realizes that to forget about Cun Xi entirely is an impossible mission! She can only choose to run away and hide, to try to diminish Cun Xi’s influence on her.
Grabbing the opportunity when Cun Xi goes to Jiang Mu island to officiate the opening ceremony of Keepsake bridge, Xin Yi visits Granny to give her Master Zhong Shan Long’s present. However, she bumps into Cun Xi who is staying at home with a hangover!

First off, congrats, again.. To FTLY! And then I was like WTF when I saw the ratings for DCF/RL! H&C went in second this week! Again, wtf?! I don't watch H&C and didn't find the trailer particularly interesting either, but how come they suddenly jumped pass DCF?!
Okay, I am guilty myself for not watching DCF yesterday, in fact I often wait till the middle of the week unless the preview was very exciting. But, I am also working full time right now. So I'm a bit busy. Besides, I never denied that FTLY is indeed better.
I'll bet most of us saw the hot kiss between our two main characters in FTLY, right? - I for one almost jumped onto the TianEn (Qiao En & Ethan pairing) boat right away. Now, that's what I call a kiss it's more intense than the Hollywood versions! But, as much as I really love TianEn I don't think they have replaced MingEn, yet.. They are getting more and more convincing with their stunning chemistry. But anyways, besides the kiss I didn't find the episode particularly intense or overly good. It was adequate. I think it must have been the many Anna (Bianca Bai) scenes! Her awwwwful acting is really dragging down the show, I hate her character, I hate the way she acts around CX and I just despise her in general!
I hope CX finally finds out in episode 18 that Anna that B*tch lied and gave XY the abortion contract! - Shame on that woman!
As for DCF, it's ending soon. I might browse through the episode tonight, I promised Chloe from AEU to help her upload the 6feeling version while she's on vacation, so I will do that ASAP, I have d/l the episode, and will start uploading soon.

So I was surfing around YesAsia because I was going to order some TVB dramas, then I came across something interesting.
FTLY has been released already on DVD and not just the first parts, but the end part as well..! I find it interesting yet odd as they haven't even shown it all in Taiwan yet, but I guess for people who can't wait, they can order already.
This set is in two parts (both parts have already been released) and is called "You're My Destiny" instead. But it should be the same, I don't actually know if the scenes/endings etc. are 100 % like the version they are currently airing on Sanlih, but maybe? Can anyone confirm the quality, the version etc?

As excited as I am to see the ending, I'm gonna wait for a full DVD set instead. I hate having several parts for one drama/series. And I prefer English subtitles, so I will probably not buy till if and when there is a version with proper English subtitles included. But for those of you who understand Mandarin perfectly, what are you waiting for :) ?
A couple of previews have been released today, two of them are just longer versions of scenes that we've already seen, if you know what I mean? Anyways, see for yourself. The bed/make out scene is definitely coming up tomorrow, I can't wait! Although I won't be home till 5 PM, because of work, I will definitely watch it as the first thing I do.
As for songs of the week, I have been busy and sick at the same time, so haven't had time to upload any, I have thought of a couple of songs, but they will be delayed till further notice.

Well why can't she be both Elaine and Chen Xin Yi? She's insecure especially around CunXi cause they're fated to be together ;) Anyways, did you see that Anna will interrupt them? I did read in the summary officially released by Sanlih that Anna will interrupt and maybe that's why they didn't go as far as we all had hoped? - I mean I hoped a new Ji Nian Pin would come out of it, but I guess not. I still dislike Anna very much, she's one of the biggest selfish snobs in the whole drama, and I actually dread that she might be Dylan's sister.
What is Anson thinking of? Did CunXi just say that "I'm getting married now, Chen XinYi and I are impossible"?? I wonder why XinYi's mother's there..
